Study abroad

Semester Abroad for students:

 Orientation (one week):

•  Helpful tools for students to use for learning during this program
•  Indian culture, how to enjoy and stay safe during the stay

Academic training (4 weeks) with courses on:

• Communicating Personal Power in a multicultural, relationship based organization
• Partition and Reconciliation in South Asian Literature and Arts
• Perspectives on Development & Conflicts in India
•  Prevalent Religions and Cultures in Varanasi and India
•  Students are welcome to participate in research conducted by our own institute

Community/cultural immersion:

• 4 week volunteer work at one Varanasi NGO in Varanasi or other cities.
• Language exposure to Hindi (8 weeks of classes three times a week)
